Amymone Pension is located in the old, neoclassical city ofNafplion in an idyllic location, 50 meters from the beach, behind the church of St. Nicholas which is called 'Gialos' neighbourhood.

Amynone is housed in a mansion that was restored in 2003 and renovated in 2010.

The Neoclassical exterior architecture Pension Amymoneaccompanied uniquely with the internal in a perpetual game between different art forms and styles (painting, sculpture, photography).

Colourful contemporary works, lighting, wooden sculptures, iron and other natural recycled materials decorating the rooms with great humor and love created by the Italian artist Francesco Moretti.

Amynone was one of the 50 daughters of Danaos, king of Argos.

The myth says that Poseidon, when he saw Amymone, dazzled by her beauty and by their union was born Nauplius, the founder of the city of Nafplion, where monuments and buildings make up the unique physiognomy, the wonderful Nafplion.
